Here you will find important information about the Armagh City Marathon – please check back regularly to be kept up-to-date with how the organisation of the event is going.

Half Marathon start time 09:30am
10K start time 10:30am
(Early marathon start at 7am for 4.5h+ runners only)

All event distances have been measured and certified as accurate by the British Measurements Council.

Entry fees
£26 for Full Marathon
£45 for Back2Back Marathons
£60 for Marathon Relay (up to 4 runners)
£21 for Half Marathon
£18 for 10K

Event Medals
All participants will receive a commemorative medal – these will be distributed upon crossing the finish line.  The final relay leg runner will cross the finish line and receive 4 medals, one for each of their team mates to distribute.

Entry closing date
Online entry will remain open until the evening before the event, unless capacity for the events is reached.
Entry on the day will also be accepted, if capacity has not been reached.

Sponsorship and Fundraising
Whilst sponsorship/fundraising is not required, additional funds raised through sponsorship and fundraising would be much appreciated by the charity and would be added to the final total raised by the event.
Any monies raised for the events chosen charity, Cardiac Risk in the Young, can be handed into the race organisers during registration or via post after the event.

Race head quarters & Pack collection
Race HQ will be located in the Armagh Cricket Club, located on the Mall.

Pack collection
All pre-registered runners will collect race packs (which includes race bib number, safety pins, individual timing chip) from HQ on the morning of the date of the race, so please allow time for this.

Toilet and changing facilities
Toilet facilities will be available within HQ for use before and after the race.  Changing rooms are available, and belongings are your own responsibility.  Shower facilities will be available from the Armagh City Hotel (short walk/drive) gym post event.

Baggage
No secure baggage facility is provided – the organisers accept no responsibility for lost/stolen items.

Car parking
Free car parking will be available within the Mall West car park (adjacent to Emerson’s and Sainsbury’s supermarkets); a very short walking distance from Race HQ and the starting line.

Awards and prizes
As the Armagh City Marathon is primarily a charity fundraising event – we only offer prize funds for the Top 3 Men and Top 3 Women in all events and Top relay team only.  No prizes are in plan for category positions.

Age restrictions
Marathon – 18 years and above (on race day), and in good physical health.
10K & Marathon Relay – 15 years and above (on race day), and in good physical health.
Half Marathon – 16 years and above (on race day), and in good physical health.

If you have any concerns regarding your health, please consult your Doctor before entering.

Race results
Race results will be posted on this website shortly after the race.

Event photography
The official event photography will be provided by RHG Photography who will be taking shots at both the starting and finish areas.  An online gallery will be available for you to browse the event pictures.

First aid
First aid facilities will be provided by St Johns Ambulance and will have both first aid volunteers and an ambulance.

Race timing
Accurate race times for the Marathon and Marathon Relay event will be provided using ChampionChip technology. Each runner will have a chip which will record their own individual time.  The timing chip for the Marathon Relay will be passed from one runner to the next after each lap.

Race registration is available here via EventBrite.  Race payment can be via PayPal.
